Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally DVD Review & Giveaway

Almost every child loves hearing the words 'Mickey Mouse'. Growing up I was the same way! From the time Kaelyn was very young, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse has been a favorite television show around our house. It's a wholesome cartoon, and one I don't have to worry about her watching. It never fails to hold her interest and whether she knows it or not, while having fun...she's also learning throughout the entire thing! To find a great show for children that is interactive, educational and fun-filled is not always easy, that's why I was excited to learn that we were going to have the opportunity to review Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally.

I had a feeling Kaelyn would be thrilled to see this movie, and I was right! The moment she saw the bright, colorful cover, she was begging to watch it! I have to admit that even I was excited to see it...as an adult I still love Mickey and Minnie. She grabbed her Mickey Mouse and was glued as she joined Mickey and his pals on this exciting, brand-new, full-length adventure from Walt Disney Home Entertainment.

In Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally, viewers are taken on a voyage through sandy deserts, snow-covered mountains and lush tropical jungles as Mickey and the rest of the lovable Clubhouse gang: Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Daisy, etc. participate in the first annual Road Rally. It's engaging and fun to watch as they make their way along the course.

I love the fact that through the pit stops, break downs and mess-ups along the way, Mickey Mouse and his pals made it a priority to help each other and enjoy the spirit of competition. Through all sorts of obstacles, including a mountain of rubber duckies, a sand covered road, and a broken down bridge...they stick together as they set an example for little ones about what being a good friend, and a good sport, is all about.

We had a lot of fun watching the never-before-seen bonus episode, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Pluto Lends a Paw also. There is also a great Discovery Mode Interactive Play feature which helps to engage kids to watch and play alongside their favorite Disney characters while teaching colors, shapes, sizes as well as helping them remember what has happened so far. Using the remote made it really easy for us to answer the questions together with Kaelyn. Discovery Mode 1 is for ages 2-3 and Discovery Mode 2 is for ages 4-5 with higher level thinking questions.

As with our past Mickey Mouse Clubhouse experiences, we were not disappointed. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally has been a fantastic addition to our children's dvd collection and is one I know we will be able to enjoy as a family time after time.
