First Toddle: 5-in-1 Play, Entertainment & Developmental System ~ Review and Giveaway

When I became a parent for the first time I remember feeling overwhelmed with all the baby gear out there. Which items were necessary, and which were not? Would we need all the play mats, walkers, etc.? I'm sure these are questions every new parents faces...and like us, probably learn the hard way. We ended up getting every kind of baby product you can imagine, only to realize over time that some were only used a short period of time because the kids grew out of them, and others were not used at all. Having two kids, I now know that the best kind of baby products are those that grow with a child and offer several uses all in one. I am always on the lookout for such products and was excited when I came across First Toddle.

First Toddle is a 5-in-1 Play, Entertainment and Development System designed for children as young as 3 months up through 3+ years. It offers a safer environment to help your little one learn to stand and walk as well as many features to stimulate creativity and improve gross motor skills and cognitive development for years to come. The best part is...it's all in one easy package!

I was thrilled when I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review First Toddle and share about it with you. It seemed like a product that would grow with my kids and one I had a feeling every household could see themselves using/needing!
When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the box. For a product like First Toddle that offers so much, I was happy to see that it could be stored in such a convenient and compact way.

Upon opening the box, I was amazed with how much was included:
  • Toddle Walk Structure
  • Play Mat
  • Activity Table
  • Toddle Tent and Crawl-Thru
  • Mini Basketball Backboard, Hoop, and Net
  • Mini Soccer/Hockey Goal
  • Sports Ball Set
  • Mini Hockey Stick
  • Large Soccer/Hockey Net
  • Soft Play Toys
  • Reusable Carry-All Box
Everything you need to create an area for infant play mat, first steps, toddler play, sports center, and advanced activities was all there in one box!

I was immediately impressed with the quality. The materials are durable and made to last! They are also kid-friendly including soft materials like the soft play toys/balls, as well as the activity table and hockey stick.

Getting started couldn't have been easier. First Toddle is very simple to assemble and changing from one activity to another is seriously as simple as pushing the buttons along the support structure to adjust the height and attaching the net or toys of your choice.

We started out with the play mat, a great play space for young babies especially. Whether a baby is laying on his back and reaching for toys, or sitting up and playing with them...it's the perfect set up. First Toddle includes two super cute, soft bears that hang down from the support structure for little ones to play with. There are also straps included to hang your own toys if desired.

Kaden absolutely loves it set up as a play mat. On it's lowest level, First Toddle is set to a perfect height for him to sit there and play with the toys. It's a great sensory experience for him as well as giving him the opportunity to work on those fine motor skills.

With Kaden just beginning to 'cruise' around the furniture, I knew First Toddle would be a great way to encourage him and help him feel confident in what he's doing. By simply adjusting the height, First Toddle becomes a safer place for him to pull up and walk along. He is able to do it on his own and I can tell it makes him feel very proud to be doing it independently. He enjoys the included activity table, as he'll walk along to it and play with any toys sitting there. This was just one of many features I really appreciate and could tell a lot of thought went into every aspect of this product.

Even at this level, you can see in the picture that Kaelyn is right there playing too! I was amazed that it's even something my 2 year old is interested in. It's fun to have a product they both can use together. Just another reason why having a 5-in-1 toy is so great, and practical! While Kaden walks along and plays at the activity table or with the hanging toys, Kaelyn enjoys throwing the balls into the basketball hoop.

As a child continues to grow, the First Toddle can be changed and expanded to entertain young children up to 3+ years! With the option of a crawl-thru tent, soccer net/hockey goal, basketball hoop and more...this product transforms into products I haven't even seen sold separately, let alone ALL-IN-ONE!

Kaelyn loves when it's set at the highest height so she can be a 'gymnast' as she likes to say. It's sturdy enough to allow her to put her legs up on pull up on. It's fun to see her imagination at work and watch as she creatively plays with it in various ways.

Kaden enjoys this height as well, as he likes to pull up and stand next to it. He has recently started to get more brave and even lets go to stand on his own for a few seconds at a time. It's great to see his confidence building every day.

The crawl-thru tent is also a big hit with both kids! Kaden loves to crawl through it, and Kaelyn really enjoys taking her pillow and blanket in to pretend she's 'camping out'. It think it's so great that First Toddle not only provides an entertaining environment for infants and toddlers to practice and enhance their gross motor skills...but also encourages discovery, exploration and imaginative play!

The Soccer/Hockey Net is a lot of fun for Kaelyn too. It's been so fun to watch her grow in her ability to do things like this and best of all...she loves it! I really appreciate that it includes a soft hockey stick. This makes it easy to even use in the house where I know nothing will get broken and no one will get hurt.

Here's a short clip showing more about First Toddle...

We're very happy with First Toddle and all it has to offer! I love how versatile it is and that kids of all ages can be challenged by it and enjoy playing with it independently or together. Really, who needs all the separate baby gear items and toys (that may cost more combined and are something your kids will grow out of) when you can get it all in one kit and have it last for years?! Instead of spending for products like that, I would recommend considering First Toddle. It would make a perfect baby gift, birthday present, or even something to have at Grandma and Grandpa's house. My parents would LOVE having something like this for when all the grandkids come to visit. It offers something for them all to do and is extremely easy to set up and store. Considering the versatility and quality, I think First Toddle offers a lot of value and is worth having if you have little ones.
