Just because it's the middle of summer doesn't mean a hot cup of coffee isn't just as yummy as any other time of the year, right? I don't know about you, but no matter what the season, I enjoy my morning cappuccino or cup of coffee just the same! That's why I was excited when I came across Capresso and their amazing line of innovative coffee makers, coffee grinders, espresso machines and more!Every day more Americans discover the better taste, aroma and freshness of high-pressure-brewed coffee. That's why Capresso is dedicated to providing high quality, finely engineered products that deliver superior performance along with convenience and reliability.
I was thrilled when I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review Capresso's 4-Cup Espresso & Cappuccino Machine!Features/Benefits:
- 4-cup high-tech steam/boiler system
- Boiler cap with built-in safety valve
- Unique Coffee/Steam Selector
- Swivel frother with adjustable steam output (steams lg or sm amounts of milk in seconds for frothing (Cappuccinos) and steaming (Lattes))
- The powerful steam/boiler reduces warm-up time to under 2 minutes
- Convenient filter holder with thumb guard for safe use
- Illuminated on/off switch
- Dishwasher safe glass carafe
- Removable drip tray for easy clean-up

It arrived with perfect timing, as my twin brother (who loves coffee) was visiting and helped me test it out for the first time! The fact that it allowed us to experience the full taste of espressos, cappuccinos and lattes right from my kitchen was great! He likes his coffee much stronger than I do. The fact that the Capresso 4-Cup Espresso & Cappuccino Machine features an exclusive Coffee/Steam selector that makes it easy to control both brewing and steaming, makes it possible to adjust the strength to each of our personal tastes.

Next we unscrewed the boiler cap and filled it with water. Then screwed it back on.

After placing the carafe on the drip tray, we turned on the machine so it could start heating the water. After approximately 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, hot water started forcing its way through the filter holder and into the carafe.

Frothing was easy, but it took a little bit of practice. By immersing the black frother nozzle into the milk it steamed and frothed it. We learned quickly how to control how much steam was pushed out by turning the steam knob.

It was so simple, and in no time we had a yummy cup of coffee and cappuccino.
I would highly recommend the Capresso 4-Cup Espresso & Cappuccino Machine to anyone who loves lattes, cappuccinos and espressos! It's high quality, easy to use and gives you a fresh cup every time! It does take a few minutes to brew and prepare, but it's worth the wait.

I've had my eye on a frappe maker for a while but I also love Cappuccinos and Lattes. I might just make the switch and get the Capresso instead. Thanks for the review!
