Having been cooped up in the house all winter long, the kids and I are more than ready to spend some much needed time outdoors! As it continues to get warmer...outside is where you'll find us most of the time. Whether it's at the pool, the park, or just playing in the backyard...we love to enjoy the beautiful, sunny weather while it's here! Each summer I find myself looking for new toys and gear for the kids to use and was very excited when I came across Kids Chair World a couple of months ago!

When the Beach Chair with Umbrella arrived, I couldn't wait to test it out with our 2 year old daughter, Kaelyn. As I took it out of the box I was very happy with the quality. The nylon material and metal frame are both very durable and something I can tell will withstand a lot of wear and will be protected from the weather as well.

I also LOVE the size! Not only is it the perfect size for a young child, but it folds up to a size that is easy to store and carry with us wherever we are going. Weighing less than 3 lbs, it's even something Kaelyn likes to carry too. She likes to be a big helper and feels very special being able to do this.

The attached umbrella is probably my favorite feature. I really appreciate the fact that it is adjustable to several angels so it can provide shade throughout the day. It's very easy to open and close and when not in use, securely straps behind the chair. I was worried the umbrella might be flimsy, but it's very well made like the rest of the chair.

There is also a cute zippered pouch attached to the bottom of the front. I think this is really a neat addition. It's perfect to keep snacks, or even the little things Kaelyn picks up or carries around with her here and there.

Although the weather has not permitted us to use this at the beach yet, I have found that it's perfect for use in our backyard and the park. I love that she can sit in it and be shaded from the sun while we're outside playing!

I can see this beach chair coming in handy over the summer months! Whether it's at the lake, fireworks, or even camping...this little chair will get a lot of use. Kaelyn even enjoys sitting in it inside the house...it's her very own special little chair! She is quite tickled to have it and uses it every chance she gets.
