Commenter #194, 1955Nurse said: "My inspiration has been my Mom-in-law who was diagnosed w/CA in Feb. 1976. She had Chemo AND radiation and still had 4 of her 5 children still living @ home! Then in May '76 she: Had 1 son graduate 6th grade (1st wk-end); had another son graduate high school (2nd wk-end); had oldest son graduate college (3rd wk-end) and then participated in OUR Wedding! (50 people for Rehearsal dinner Fri. PM, 125 @ a Big church wedding/reception Sat. and brunch for 25 @ home for family/friends still in town after the wedding!!!) She was a phenomenal Woman, a fantastic role model and a true Christian who lead by example, not word! (We just lost her this past Aug. '09 to a Heart-disease related problem and she is very much missed!)"
