I nursed Kaelyn until she turned one. It was such a wonderful bonding experience and I was so happy that we were able to keep it up for that long. I would recommend any mom to give it a try, not only for the nutritional and health benefits, but also for the bonding experience it provides for you and your little one! I hope to nurse this second baby for the first year as well! Although it was a wonderful experience, one thing I remember is going through boxes and boxes of nursing pads in the beginning. They didn't work very well and it was quite a hassle.

That's why I was happy to learn more about LilyPadz! Lilypadz was born when a young mother of three got tired of the traditional, incovenient and expensive disposable nursing pads! I was sent a set of LilyPadz and was impressed with the quality and their unique no-leak design. They are thin silicone nursing pads that act like a second skin. They're flexible and breathable, and almost invisible! I think my favorite thing about LilyPadz is that they seem like they would be totally comfortable and no one would be able to tell you're wearing them. They're also reusable and can last for several months! I think that is great because it was a pain having to change nursing pads all the time and buy boxes at a time. I obviously haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but look forward to being able to when our baby arrives in November!

Have you had any experiences with LilyPadz? If so, I'd love to hear them. If you haven't ever heard of them and would like to learn more...there's a wealth of information on their website here. They have a great FAQs section and many testimonials from satisfied customers.

Buy It: Lilypadz can be purchased at a number of online stores and retail locations...all conveniently found on their website. You can also order LilyPadz directly from LilyPadz for $22.95.

I loooved Lilypadz! The only problem I ever had was that in the very beginning I had so much milk that they leaked a bit. Later I used them all the time and definitely will use them again! :-)

I am going to try these as well! I have them sitting out at my house waiting to be used. I also do not want to go through tons of disposable nursing pads so I only bought one big box and then another box of reusable ones. So many choices!

I had the same problem as Lindsey. In the beginning milk would pool in them and leak if they got to full. This occured when I had a very active let down or if I did not pump frequently. Now they are not as sticky as they were (and I followed the washing instructions), I would have liked them to last longer but I can still use them for swimming (excellent!) and other times when I do not need them to be water (or milk) tight. My biggest issue was when I wore them to work, you take them off to pump and it is difficult to dry up any milk that is in them and put them back on after pumping and also it is hard not to spill the gathered milk on clothing when removing.

Do lily padz come in different sizes? I am a C-cup and I don't want to buy something that's one size fits all in case it doesn't work.
