One of the things we loved about the home we bought just over a year ago is that the previous owners had put on an addition with main level laundry and a third bathroom! It's great for our growing family and something we greatly appreciate having. The bathroom is especially nice to have, as it's near our dining area and the kids use it often to wash their hands before and after meals. The only problem is, the height of the counter and small faucet made it difficult for them to do it on their own. That's why I've had my eye on the Lavatory Faucets with Touch2O.xt Technology from Delta.

We are huge fans of Delta and their high quality products, which is why I couldn't have been more excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review one of their faucets. After searching through the variety of options, I was drawn to the Lahara Single Handle Lavatory Faucet with Touch2O.xt Technology in Stainless Steel.
When the faucet arrived I was very excited to check it out! As I opened
the box I couldn't have been happier with the quality. Once again, Delta did not disappoint! This faucet was made to last, not to mention absolutely beautiful!
I was really excited when my hubby was free to install it. Jobs like this can sometimes be time-consuming but the faucet came with a handy Quick Start Guide that led him through each step. It went smoothly and didn't take as long as I had expected which was great! Once he was finished we were ready to start using this beauty!
I love the size! It's bigger than our old faucet, yet has such an elegant, modern look to it with the one piece curved handles and sleek spout. It was such a great upgrade in our bathroom and goes well with the decor we have in there.
Not only are we thrilled with the look and quality of the
Lahara Faucet from Delta, but also the unique
Touch2O Technology AND Touch2O.xt Technology! As I said, I have been looking for a faucet that would make washing our hands easier for my little ones...and this has been just what we've been needing and so much more!
Thanks to the amazing technology, we are able to use this faucet in several ways. Like many faucets, if we choose we can use it manually by moving the handle to the on and off position. We have done this a few times, but usually choose one of the options that really set this faucet apart from others.
The first is Touch Activation where we can activate the flow of water by touching anywhere on the spout or handle. To begin, we put the handle in the on position and adjusted it to a temperature that's comfortable. We then tap anywhere on the spout, body or handle to start and stop the water flow (usually underneath to minimize fingerprints)! There is a LED indicator light that is solid blue when the water is flowing.
I always have worried about the kids turning on the faucet and having too hot of water. That's why I absolutely love the touch option! We have the handle in the position we want it for the right temperature, so all the kids have to do is tap it and the water begins to flow - no need to mess with the temperature at all!And, it is set to shut off 60 seconds after the initial touch of the faucet.
The other feature that really sets this faucet apart is the hands-free activation option (my favorite!). We are able to activate the flow of water by just moving close to the faucet. It actually senses your presence anywhere 4" around it. I LOVE this feature, especially for my kids! As I said, they are often using this particular sink after meals when their hands are messy. Instead of having to touch a handle with their dirty fingers, they can simply put their hands near it and it sense their presence. How neat is that!?!
In the hands-free mode it automatically shuts off within 5 seconds after removing hands from the 4" sensory field which I love as well!
We have been thrilled with the Lahara Single Handle Lavatory Faucet and how it looks in our bathroom! Not only is the quality outstanding but the unique Touch2O Technology AND
Touch2O.xt Technology has made hand washing much easier and convenient...especially for our kids! We're not getting our dirty hands and germs all over the handle now that we can simple tap it with the top of our hand or simply use the hands-free mode.
