Chuck E Cheese's Say Cheese! App ~ Review & Giveaway

Chuck E. Cheese's is one of my kids' favorite places to eat out. The closest one to us is about an hour away, so it's a special treat for them every time we go.They were super excited when they found out we had received a guest pass to visit the family entertainment leader, Chuck E. Cheese recently. 

The Chuck E. Cheese's Guest Pass is redeemable for a large pizza, four drinks and 30 game tokens. As with last time, this was the perfect amount for our family of 5. Our visit this time was a bit different though, as there was a new fun way for the kids to interact with Chuck E. Cheese! Chuck E. Cheese's now has their first-ever downloadable app, Say Cheese! which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Available for free download, the new Say Cheese! App makes trips to Chuck E. Cheese's even more fun! Using augmented reality, the app allows parents and kids to take fun photos with an animated version of Chuck E. Cheese. 

When we first arrived to Chuck E. Cheese, the kids were once again in awe of all the games and we saw the Say Cheese! App location right away on the wall as we were ordering our food. We decided we'd sit down and eat first. We were happy with the great service and how quickly our food got to us. This was much appreciated as our kids were anxious to check out the Say Cheese! sign and of course, all the games. The food was delicious as always!

Next we were ready to play some games and win some prizes. Our kids love this part! There is such a nice variety of fun games to choose from. There's rides for young children like Caysen, and fun games for those who are Kaden and Kaelyn's ages, not to mention lots that adults can enjoy as well! :)

 

While the kids all enjoyed the food and games, a highlight for Kaelyn every time is getting to see Chuck E. Cheese himself! They danced, sang and even got some free tickets which was fun too. Knowing how much she loves to see Chuck E. Cheese when we're there, I knew she'd love the Say Cheese! app. 

After the meal was enjoyed and games and prizes were done, a trip to Chuck E. Cheese's is all about the lasting memories families make by spending time together. It's fun to capture that using the new Say Cheese! app. 

We headed over to the Say Cheese! sight before we left and tried it out. We first downloaded the app from the Apple App Store. It was very easy to activate too. With the app open, we simply pointed our camera at the signand watched as Chuck E. Cheese came to life! It is really neat, and something Kaelyn thought was a lot of fun! 

The app also incorporates sharing functionality to easily post the snapshots to Facebook and Twitter or send them to friends and family members through email. Guests can even submit their photos to www.chuckecheese.com through the Say Cheese! App for a chance to see it on the Chuck E. Cheese's website and official Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages.

We had a great time at Chuck E. Cheese's and definitely plan on going back again soon! The kids had a blast and the new Say Cheese! App made it even more fun.
