Honeywell with Febreze Freshness Cool & Refresh Fan ~ Review & Giveaway

I don't have any teenage boys yet, but when my brother was in high school I remember the very interesting, very unpleasant smell that somehow existed only in his room.  Similarly, in the dorms at college, that same foul smell seemed to exist in the boys' dormitories.  I'm not exactly sure where it comes from, but Honeywell and Febreze understand the need to combat that smelly, stagnant indoor air. Honeywell has combined a small, table-top fan with the power of Febreze Set&Refresh scent cartridges to help keep your home smelling fresh and inviting with the Honeywell with Febreze Freshness Cool & Refresh Fan.

Honeywell is a Fortune 100 company that invests and manufactures technologies to address tough challenges linked to global macrotrends such as safety, security and energy.  However, you may be most familiar with them through their consumer and home goods, like this one.

For a while now, I've really wanted my small apartment to smell more fresh and inviting.  When you live in a small space and you're busy all day changing smelly diapers, your living room can easily smell like the bathroom if you're not careful.  Or if you have pets, you know what I mean as well.  So I was excited to try this fan!

I set it on our kitchen table, which is a cross point between the kitchen, the living room and the downstairs bathroom.  Almost instantly, the odors in my home were gone and with the scent control dial I was able to control the scent to keep it from becoming overpowering over time.

The past few days when my husband walked in the door from work, the first thing he said was, "Wow, it smells so nice in here."

There was no set-up or assembly to this product.  I simply took it out of the box, inserted the Febreze Set&Refresh scent cartridge (it came with one) and plugged it in.

The fan is very light and sleek and could easily be transported to any space in the house.  It was even small enough to fit between my bookshelves.

Buy It: You can purchase the Honeywell with Febreze Freshness Cool & Refresh Fan at Target or Walmart for $29.99.

You can connect with Honeywell on Facebook and Twitter.
