Build-A-Bear Workshop Review & Giveaway

If you have been reading here for a while now, you know that our family is a huge fan of Build-A-Bear Workshop! They are known for the opportunity they give children (and adults) to make their own furry friend. It's a unique experience and one that is truly special, especially for children. My kids absolutely adore their Build-A-Bear Workshop animals, and always jump at the opportunity to visit a store whenever we're around one.

As I've mentioned before, the closest Build-A-Bear Workshop store to us is over two hours away. That means our visits are usually few and far between. Living a distance from the nearest store doesn't mean we can't enjoy Build-A-Bear Workshop's super cute and cuddly friends though. We learned a while back that they actually offer a great collection of featured pals right online as well! You do miss out on the experience of making a furry friend, but having one delivered right to your doorstep all dressed up and ready to cuddle is the next best thing!

Last month Build-A-Bear Workshop contacted me to let me know of three adorable new friends that came available over the past few few weeks. They are:

• Disney Princess Bear ($23)
• Harajuku Hugs Panda ($20)
• Girl Scouts Thin Mints Bear ($15) 

When asked if I'd like to review one, I of course said yes. Afterall, all three are absolutely adorable! It wasn't an easy decision trying to decide which one, but after giving it some thought decided to go with the Girl Scouts Thin Mints Bear! I used to be in Girl Scouts as a young girl and have fond memories of everything we did, and of course the fun uniform we wore as well. I thought this would be a neat way to share about that with my kids and couldn't wait for our Girl Scouts Thin Mint Bear to arrive!

Our new friend arrived in a Build-A-Bear Workshop signature box. This made getting it in the mail a lot of fun and so much like being able to get one right in the store! The moment the kids saw the box, they were begging to see what was inside.

As we pulled out the Build-A-Bear, I was impressed with the quality right away. As always, Build-A-Bear Workshop did not disappoint. I am also always amazed with the time that goes into every little detail of these furry friends. I absolutely love how soft and cuddly it is, but also enjoy the accessories and things that came with it.

This bear came with a white crewneck tee, white sparkle tennis shoes, and of course a Girl Scout Junior Uniform vest! It brought back so many memories and was fun to talk to the kids about Girl Scouts when it arrived. There's even an embroidered Girl Scout Trefoil and Girl Scout Thin Mints Cookie on the paw pads.

 

Kaelyn and Kaden both love that she came all dressed up, and enjoy cuddling and playing with her. It's been a fun companion for both of them!

We absolutely love everything about the new Girl Scouts Thin Mints Bear from Build-A-Bear Workshop and would definitely recommend it to others we know. With it being that time of year where Girl Scouts are busy selling cookies, it would be a great gift idea for any Girl Scout too!

Their collection of cuddly friends is outstanding, and once again did not disappoint! We have fallen in love with these two adorable animals and can't wait to see what new friends they come up with. I would definitely recommend taking a look at their selection online, and if you live near a Build-A-Bear Workshop, you can always go into the store and make a friend of your choosing as well.
