Fun, Think-Fast, Family Game from Hasbro Games ~ Bop-It! Review and Giveaway

The weather in the Midwest is unpredictable to say the least. One day it can be 60 degrees...and the next, snowing. That's pretty much how our Spring has looked so far. With so much cold weather, snow and of course...spring showers....our family is stuck indoors a lot! It's always fun to find new engaging activities and games we can do together, especially on days like this. I know I'm always on the lookout for new things and am happy to know Hasbro Games is always there to help!

Hasbro is a company trusted by families for generations. They are known for some of the most well known toys and games available. What I think is so great about them, is that they continue to keep the traditional products we grew up with, but still find ways to update them and keep us all wanting more!

We were sent the new Bop-It! Game to review, and I couldn't have been more excited!
Bop-It! is the fast-action game that calls the shots, inviting players to shout, twist, pull or bop in random order. If players respond correctly, Bop-It! will answer with a new command, but they’ll have to think quickly! The commands will keep getting faster and faster!

When the Bop-It! Game arrived, I was looking forward to trying it out. Bop-It is a game I always enjoyed playing with my family and friends growing up! It was fun, fast-paced and incredibly challenging...perfect for any kind of get together. I was excited to see that this "think fast" game is back and better than ever!

Once I got it out of the package, I was ready to play. For Bop-It, you can have as few as 1 player, so it's a fun game for individuals and groups alike. I turned it on and was ready to Bop, Pull and Twist my way to victory. For even more of a challenge, I also activated the microphone and Shout It, too! Having not played in a while, it took me a couple times to get into it...but then I began unlocking more and more levels. My husband and I have played it several times together and in groups with family and friends, and everyone really seems to love it! As you continue to get the commands right, the Bop-It! goes faster and faster, becoming more and more challenging. It's SO.MUCH.FUN! There's even a Party Bop mode where you can use your whole body, knees, elbows and hips to win!

What I love about this game is that the game itself is such a nice size and easy to hold. It's also super simple without a whole lot of rules and directions.

It's recommended for ages 8 and older, which I think is pretty accurate. It takes a lot of concentration and good hand-eye coordination to play. However...Kaelyn really enjoys playing it and trying to follow the commands too. She usually grabs it by herself and tries to keep up with what she is supposed to do next (Bop it, twist it, etc). It's fun to watch!

Overall, I've been very happy with the Bop-It game. It's a lot of fun and perfect for any family or group of friends who enjoy having fun and like fast-paced, "think on your feet" sort of games! I would highly recommend it!
