As I set my suitcase on the scale at the airport last month, I remember being a bit nervous. I knew I had packed way more clothes and shoes than I would ever need on our 5 day trip to Jamaica and was concerned it would put my luggage over the weight limit. We had weighed our suitcases at home on our not-so-reliable bathroom scale, and thankfully it worked out....this time anyways. Packing can be stressful with wanting to make sure you don't forget anything, and the last thing a person should have to worry about is if they're going to have to shift things around in the middle of the airport to make sure their luggage is under the weight limit. I knew there had to be a better solution, and there now is thanks to EatSmart Products and their Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale.

Although our trip to Jamaica is over, I know we will be taking many more trips and having something like this will come in very handy. I couldn't wait to check it out when it arrived.

As I pulled it out of the box, I was very impressed. The lightweight and compact design allows travelers to place it in their suitcase and bring with them on their trips. No matter if you're just leaving for vacation, or heading home...unexpected baggage fees are not something you want to have to worry about. I know that on our way back from any trip, I'm always wondering if we'll go over the weight limit with all the gifts and souvenirs we buy. Thanks to this portable device, that will no longer be a concern. We can easily slip it in our luggage and have it with us wherever we go.

It's very sleek and best of all, couldn't be easier to get set up! The digital luggage scale was activated and ready to go by simply pulling out the plastic tab from the battery compartment. It took no time at all! I was now ready to see just how easy it is to use! I clipped the buckle around the handle of our suitcase and made sure it was secure.

I then pushed the on/off button which turned on the large backlit LCD screen, showing a beginning weight of 0.0.
Using the proprietary two handed SmartGrip designed Handles, I found it was very easy to use and lift up. As I did this, the display registered the weight, the scale beeped and my luggage weight appeared on the screen instantly (you can choose the units you want to weigh it in too)! I love that it's so easy and fast to use, and is SO much easier than using our bathroom scale!


Having tried it out, I am very pleased with the quality as well. It's durable and something I can easily see working with the max weight of 110 lbs.

Overall I am very happy with the EatSmart Precision Voyager Luggage Scale. The quality is fantastic, and it's incredibly easy and quick to use. With summer just around the corner and many of us planning vacations already, I would definitely suggest this product as a must-have for all travelers. It's compact, lightweight and once you have it, you'll never have to worry about paying unexpected baggage fees again! It eliminates the hassle and stress of airport check-ins and saves you money in the long run.
