JEMOS ~ Eco-Friendly Footwear for Infants & Toddlers Review & Giveaway

Kaden has been walking for the past month, each day getting faster and more confident. He seems to prefer getting around barefoot, however, the weather has changed and temps are in the single digits which means cold little feet. In looking for shoes for him, I want to make sure I'm doing what's best for his developing little feet, while at the same time keeping them safe and warm. I also like to find shoes that are cute and stylish as well as affordable. I know, I'm pretty picky...but when it comes to my kids...I want the best! As I browsed the JEMOS website, I was impressed with their selection of adorable girls shoes and boys shoes. With Kaden in need of a quality pair of shoes especially, I was instantly drawn to the Blake style and excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review a pair.

When the shoes arrived, I was immediately impressed with the signature box. I love when companies take the time to personalize their packaging. Not only is it sturdy enough to keep the shoes safe when not being worn, but it also displays them nicely and would be perfect for gift-giving. I appreciate that the packaging is also 100% reusable and recyclable (even the company website is hosted by a server that uses 100% wind energy!).

Upon opening the box, I found an adorable, plush giraffe finger puppet which is the JEMOS mascot. Each box of shoes includes one, which I think is really neat. My kids were thrilled!

Of course, I couldn't wait to check out the shoes. Just taking them out of the box, I could already tell the buttery soft leather is top of the line. It's incredibly soft, yet durable enough to withstand a child's active feet. I absolutely love that JEMOS only uses 100% new, hand choses and high quality leather remnants that are eco-friendly. Their leathers are also tested for both wear and safety.

The padded ankle cushioning and extra cushioned sole seems to make them very comfortable (I wish I could find a pair of these shoes in my size!) and flexible. The footbed is thick enough though, that I have peace of mind knowing his little feet are safe and warm.

I used the size chart found right on the JEMOS Footwear website which worked out perfectly. As I slid the shoes on Kaden's feet...they fit great! They're snug enough that they won't fall off, yet roomy enough with the comfy toe box...that there is plenty of wiggle space and room to grow.

The Velcro-closure is great. It makes it easy to get the shoes on and off and is much preferred over tie shoes. I was a little concerned that Kaden would try to take them off...but he hasn't even touched them. I have a feeling he's enjoying the comfort of walking on a soft padded sole as much as I would!

Oh, and did I mention that they are absolutely adorable?! I love the style, as well as the leather/suede combination on the Blake shoes. They are perfect for my little man and go with almost every outfit he wears. We've received several compliments on how cute they are.

Best of all, Kaden loves them. He is not fond of walking around in most shoes, however...hasn't seemed to mind these at all. He gets around just as well as he does barefoot. I like knowing that they're protecting his feet, while allowing them to develop the way they should.

Overall I've been very impressed with the Blake Shoes from JEMOS. The quality is amazing and they seem very comfortable for Kaden's developing little feet. I can tell they will last us through the wear and tear of daily use which is great!
