Checking Our List #28: CafePress Review & Giveaway

As I browsed the CafePress website a couple of months ago, several of their products stood out to me as being great Christmas gifts. Whether it's a man, woman, or child...they have something that's sure to suit them perfectly. I was especially drawn to their keepsake boxes and couldn't have been happier to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review one.

I was given the opportunity to create a Personalized Photo Keepsake Box right on their website. I can't tell you how easy it was to do! In no time I had my picture uploaded and keepsake box ready for order. With the choice of Mahogany or Black I was able to choose the finish that I liked best. I went with black since the picture I was using was black and white and am really happy I did. I debated which picture to use, and decided to go with a picture of Kaelyn as I knew this would be a jewelry box perfect for her growing collection of earrings, necklaces and more.

The keepsake box was shipped out very quickly...in fact, most keepsake box orders ship within 24 hours! When it arrived I couldn't wait to check it out. It was packaged in white box which I liked. It's simple yet yet protected well and makes it great for gift-giving!

I was in love the moment I opened that white box. I honestly did not expect for it to be this nice! It's made of solid hardwood with a high-gloss lacquer finish and great quality. This is definitely something that will last us a long time which is fantastic. I know it's something that we will cherish always.

Of course the feature that really makes this piece is the 4.25" x 4.25" ceramic tile with Kaelyn's picture. The picture looks perfect and couldn't be more clear. Printed on the tile, it's really stunning.

Upon opening the box I was equally as impressed. The fully lined velvet interior is soft and sleek looking. It really gives it a quality feel and is a touch I appreciate a lot. It fits all of her jewelry perfectly with room to spare. I thought the 5.5" x 5.5" x 2.25" size might be a bit small...but I love it! It's not too big, yet not too small.


The bottom is even lined in felt which not only protects the keepsake box, but also the surface it sits on.

Overall we've been very impressed with the personalized keepsake box. It's sleek, high quality and easily personalized, making it something I know will be enjoyed for many years to come. Whether it's for a mother, grandmother, or someone else...this would make a fantastic gift this Christmas.
