Having lived in the midwest all my life, I've had to learn to drive in all kinds of weather conditions. This time of year is especially difficult...as you never know when a blizzard or ice storm will pass through. I am more cautious than ever when driving in weather like this and want to do what I can to make sure myself and my family are safe when we're on the road. One way to do this is by checking over our vehicle before we head out of town.

We were recently getting ready to drive quite a distance and my husband realized a couple of our tires were quite low. Since tires that are properly inflated increase increase MPG, vehicle stability, and helps them last longer...it's very important to check them regularly. We were in need of a better, easier way to check the tire pressure, which is why I was thankful we were going to have the opportunity to review the Accutire Programmable Digital Tire Gauge! It couldn't have come at a better time.

When the Accutire Programmable Digital Tire Gauge arrived, I couldn't wait to check it out. Right out of the box I could already tell it has a very sleek, easy-to-grip shape.

A couple of other features I really liked right away are the large blue backlit display screen and the white LED flashlight. Both these features make it easier to check the tire pressure, especially at night!

After checking it out...my only other question was, how easy would it be to use? Thankfully, the user-friendly instructions included made it a piece of cake.

1. Press the set button to activate all digits until 0.0 appears.

2. Push Nozzle of guage on to tire valve and make sure a good seal is made.

3. Hold Guage on valve stem until you hear a beep (this is when the pressure reading is displayed and locked)

4. After the reading has been locked on the display, remove the gauge from the valve stem (the reading stays on the display for 10 seconds before going back 0.0.

Overall we've been very happy with the Accutire Programmable Digital Tire Gauge! It's incredibly easy for both my husband and I to use. The handy size makes it easy for us to carry in our glove box so we have it with us wherever we go. This is definitely a product I'd recommend anyone who drives have with them in their vehicle and think it would make a terrific Christmas gift or stocking stuffer this holiday season.
