Kaden is 1 year old today!

One year ago our family became a family of four! I can't believe Kaden is already 1, where does the time go?! I think the time has gone even faster than it did with Kaelyn the first year, but we've still enjoyed every second of it! He is such a joy and we feel very blessed that he is our son!

As was the same when Kaelyn's birthday rolled around this year, I am feeling happy and sad at the same time. Each stage and year are so much fun, yet there's a part of me that wishes my baby could stay this age forever. He's always smiling, loves to play with his sister, and is one of the sweetest little boys in the world! He is still very much a mommy's boy and loves to cuddle which I hope lasts a very long time! :)

Since his birthday lands in the middle of the week, we decided to celebrate with family this past weekend. Sunday was the day of the big party and we had so much fun visiting, eating cake, opening gifts, etc!

When we sang happy birthday his face lit up. The cake was definitely another highlight of the day! :)

As I do quite often (especially when my kids' have a birthday), I've enjoyed reminiscing and looking back through pictures from the past year.
