Checking Our List #16: Gifted Imaginations Alex Rainbow Rollers Review & $25 GC Giveaway

Over the years we've accumulated a lot of toys...some of which are played with on a daily basis, and others that have not been touched for months (maybe longer). Although the 'must-have' high tech toys are neat and hold their interest for a time, there's something timeless and captivating about those that are unique and more simple. It's toys like this that keep my kids coming back to play day after day. I am always on the lookout for the high quality products I know my kids will love, which is why I appreciate Gifted Imaginations so much!

For those who have been reading here for a while, you may remember the Gifted Imaginations review I did back in March. Their company is one that offers the things I look for when buying products for my kids, which is why I was excited to learn that we were going to have the opportunity to review another of their great products!

We were sent the Alex Rainbow Rollers to review.

When the product arrived, I was really excited to check it out and see what the kids' thought of it.

As I pulled it out of the box I was immediately impressed with the size. I expected it to be larger for some reason, so this was a very pleasant surprise.

The colors also caught my eye right away! They are bright and so much fun. The moment Kaelyn caught a glimpse she was begging to play with it. Of course, I couldn't say no. In fact, I was just as excited to play and see how it worked!

As Kaelyn placed her roll-over race car on the track for the first time, she let it go and had the biggest smile on her face as she watched it gain momentum, racing towards the next level. I think her favorite part is watching the cars 'flip' down to the next track. Although simple, this toy has provided hours of fun already! There's something about watching the cars race down the track, wondering if they'll make it to the end, fly off the track or get going too slow to get anywhere at all, that keeps her coming back again and again.


It's neat to see her learning while having fun at the same time. I love to sit back and watch as she discovers new things by using it. For instance, in the beginning she would place the car toward the middle of the top level and noticed it was not getting very far. Using it more, she realized that by placing it up further there was more of a 'hill' as she says, which made them go faster.

And although suggested for ages 2+, even Kaden loves to play along with her. Over time he has gotten the hang of placing the car on the track, and with his sister's help, gets to watch as they race to the finish. I love finding toys that they can play with together.

I have been very pleased with the quality. I could tell right out of the box that it was very well-made, but having had the opportunity to watch both kids lean on it, play with it, etc...I know it's built to last.

We have been very happy with the Alex Rainbow Rollers toy. It's well-made and allows children to work on important skills like problem-solving, taking turns, and more! I've enjoyed watching my kids learn new things and have fun playing with this toy. I would highly recommend it to any parent with toddlers.

I never get tired of browsing the Gifted Imaginations website and have recommended them to several parents I know. With everything from blocks and puzzles to games, clothes and dolls...they're sure to have something to suit your child just perfectly. They would make a great place to shop this holiday season for children of all ages.
