Who doesn't love seeing their name personalized on something?! Children especially, but I have to say that as an adult, I love it too! I enjoy finding personalized items for the kids, but at times it can be difficult. Kaelyn and Kaden are both names many may have heard of, but not necessarily a name that you can easily find pre-personalized on things. That's why I was excited when introduced to BarnyardBirthdayDVD.com!

After making a video for his niece's daughter's birthday using a song he had written, Richard went into business at the urging of a 3 year old and Barnyardbirthdaydvd.com was born! Here you'll find a personalized birthday video that sings any child's name (Yes, any child! Yay!) The site also offers about 450 short eCard versions which people can e-mail for FREE.

When asked if I'd like to review a personalized Barnyard Birthday DVD with Kaelyn's name on it, I happily said yes! Loving the fact that it was going to be personalized just for her and included a cute (and very catchy song) had me excited to check it out in person and see what she thought.

I was impressed with the the flexible plastic case it arrived in. Having a way to keep a special DVD like this protected is important. Also, I knew the actual song and video would be personalized, but was happy to see that the time is taken to personalize the front of the DVD too. I thought this was great and Kaelyn loved it too! She couldn't wait to check it out.

As we began watching it, she instantly got the biggest smile on her face. I could tell she felt very special hearing her name in the song. The DVD plays the short clip several times, and it didn't take long for Kaelyn to catch on to the tune and sing along with it.

I love that the song and video are short. It's the perfect length for young children especially! I also like that the tune incorporates farm animals and repetition. It was very easy for Kaelyn to pick up on and she loves making the animal sounds along with it.

I really like the fact that a short eCard can be sent from the site for free as well. Each time a new name (such as Kaelyn) is created on a DVD, it's added to the eCard page and list of names. It's really easy to do and such a great way to brighten anyone's special day!

I am very happy with the Barnyard Birthday DVD and think it's a very clever and cute idea. It's a great way to make kids feel even more special on their birthday having a song personalized just for them. I can't wait to pop it in the DVD player again on Kaelyn's birthday....I know she will be so tickled and that it's something she will be able to enjoy for years to come! It would make a great gift idea for any child. I plan to get Kaden one at some point too.
