Gearing Up For Summer: Little Kids, Inc Toys Review & Giveaway (TWO Winners!)

Summer may be winding down, but you'll still find our family outdoors enjoying this nice weather as much as possible! I always love finding different things for us to do together outdoors, which is why I knew I found something special when I came across Little Kids, Inc.


Founded in 1989, Little Kids Inc develops, manufactures and markets innovative and ward-winning bubble, novelty, sports and food activity toys. Consumers recognize Little Kids toys for their high quality, value and udrability which promotes thoughtful and creative play. Their brands include a line built upon No-Spill Bubbles, My First Bubbles, Junk Ball Sports, Crunch Art and Press Dough! food activity toys. They are a privately owned enterprise and have a licensed toy portfolio which includes popular names like Nickelodeon, NASCAR and Jelly Belly bubble and novelty toys.

I knew these items would be perfect for our time spent outdoors and would be something Kaelyn would absolutely love! I was right. She couldn't have been more excited when she saw the assortment of toys Little Kids offers. I was equally as impressed! Each item is high quality, unique and great for children (and even adults) of all ages. I also really appreciate the fact that the bubbles are non-toxic and contain no dyes.

What kid doesn't love bubbles?! If you're looking for fun with bubbles, Little Kids, Inc is the place to go. We received an assortment of bubble toys to try out and I was amazed with how different each one was. We've played with a lot of bubbles in the past, but have never had this much fun!

One thing I love is that many of their products have familiar cartoon characters children love. The Nickelodeon Bubble Vehicle, Nickelodeon Adventure Wand and Nickelodeon BIG Bubble Wand were a big hit at our house.


Kaelyn was immediately intrigued by the Nickelodeon Bubble Vehicle with Dora The Explorer in her cute little car, and so was I. After we put the batteries in and filled the 'tank' with bubbles it was ready to go. The vehicle is no-spill and has three modes: bubble machine only, free rolling care, or bubble machine with a free rolling car. It was neat to see how many bubbles it blows out and has provided hours of fun for Kaelyn already!

The Nickelodeon Adventure Wand with Ni Hao Kai-Lan and Nickelodeon BIG Bubble Wand with SpongeBob Square Pants were also adorable and so much fun! The Adventure Wand is actually 3 bubble wands in one. Each is a different color and shape and can easily be used with the included small dip tray. I really like that the wands fold down and make this a very compact little toy.

The SpongeBob Square Pants BIG Bubble Wand included a big dip tray and large wand. This one seemed a little harder for Kaelyn to get the bubbles out, but when she did, they were huge and so much for her to see and chase.

Having no-spill bubble toys is great! I really loved that about the Original No-Spill Bubble Tumbler and No-Spill Mini Bubble Bucket especially!

The Original No-Spill Bubble Tumbler caught Kaelyn's eye immediately with it's bright, fun colors. Once the bubbles were inside, I had her tip it over to see if it was in fact 'no-spill' and it is! It was very easy for her to use and blow bubbles with.

The No-Spill Mini Bubble Bucket is great for more than one child. It offers three bubble wands and a carrying handle so it's easy for children to take with them wherever they go. I look forward to Kaelyn and Kaden being able to use this one together when he's a little bit older. It is extremely easy to use and the bubbles inside last a long time.

The Jelly Belly bubble toy and Bubble Doood reminded me of the typical bubble toys we've played with in the past...but with a twist. They are more simple, but still provide a lot of bubble fun!

The Jelly Belly assorted bubbles were new to Little Kids this year. What made these so unique and appeal to Kaelyn (and even myself) was the fact that the bubble solution is actually scented and smells like cherry! The bottle is different than most, as you simply squeeze it to reveal the bubble wand and then blow the bubbles. It was a little harder for Kaelyn to figure out and use, but still a lot of fun.


The Bubble Doood is very fun looking with its fuzzy rubber hair, hot bright colors and crazy character face. It's no-spill and simple to use. We just filled the toy with the included bubbles and then used the wand (which is topped with his fuzzy rubber hair) and blew lots and lots of bubbles.


I have to admit that the two toys that caught my attention right away were the more unique ones that did not include wands. The Bubble Light and Big Bubble Friend. I was curious to see how they worked and how well Kaelyn would like a bubble toy that is so different.

I had never seen anything like the Big Bubble Friend before. It is a dual action, adorable bubble cow! This motorized bubble machine creates large streams of bubbles and makes a 'moo' sound when the head is pulled back. Kaelyn loved the 'moo' sound and the large bubbles. She really loves this toy, but both of us wish the bubble stream was more continuous. It is however, very easy to operate. We simply filled the tray in the mouth with bubbles, closed the head to submerge the wand, and then lifted it up and turned it on.

The Bubble Light is a dual action bubble blower is probably my favorite! It combines a flash light and bubbles. It's the perfect size for little hands and incredibly easy to operate. By simply dipping the end into the dip tray and pressing the buttom, the blower streams illuminated bubbles. This is especially fun when it's dark out! No blowing is required and it makes tons of bubbles!

I am still amazed how many great bubble toys Little Kids, Inc offers! Each one offers a different way for kids to have fun with bubbles. Being an activity that kids of all ages can enjoy, I think it's great that there are products out there that add to the excitement. The fact that many of them are no-spill is a feature I appreciate. Children and parents both were kept in mind when creating each and every toy!

The Junk Ball MLBPA Bat & Ball set was a fun new toy I couldn't wait for Kaelyn to play with. She hasn't ever played much with bat & balls, so I knew this would be great. The Major League Baseball Players Association and Junk Ball Backyard Sports have pitched in to create a unique brand of bat and ball sets featuring the likenesses of active Major League baseball players. It comes with a classic Junk Ball Baseball, Junk Ball Bat and a sheet of stickers that kids can use to customize their own bat!


Kaelyn absolutely loves using her bat and ball to play with Daddy and had a blast customizing her bat. I think this is a very neat feature and something I have not seen with other sets like it.

We are very impressed with the line of toys Little Kids offers! I couldn't be happier with the quality and thought that went into creating each one. If you're looking for some summertime fun with your children, I would highly recommend checking out their amazing selection of toys!
