Gearing Up For Summer #19: Curious Chef Review and Giveaway

Over the past year, Kaelyn has continued to show an interest in helping me do household tasks. Whether it be throwing away diapers or making the beds, she is always there willing to help me in any way she can. One of her favorite things to do is help in the kitchen. She's right there helping stir in the ingredients and get the utensils I need. She used to get quite frustrated trying to use adult sized utensils to help, which is why I'm so happy we came across Curious Chef last winter!

Curious Chef was born when a group of parents were struggling to find cooking utensils that their children could use in the kitchen. They realized the need for something that could fit little hands and have since come up with a whole line of kid-friendly products that are not only age appropriate, but encourage fun and discovery in the kitchen.

You may remember the review I did for Curious Chef and their 27 piece Foundation Set last winter. It's one we use all the time. We are so thankful for a company who has thought to create items that really work in the kitchen, but that are made especially with kids in mind!

When it arrived I couldn't wait to check them out. Once again, Curious Chef did not disappoint. The quality of each piece is fantastic! It is definitely made with kids in mind and is something I know will last us for years to come! Now she can slice, dice, chop and cut with safe, plastic knives and use other utensils to do things she otherwise would not be able to do in the kitchen.

The moment she saw them she was begging to try them out. She loves the size as well as the bright green color. They truly make helping out with jobs in the kitchen more enjoyable then ever. What a fantastic way to get kids interested in cooking and learning important skills early on!

We've had the chance to use the kids Cutlery & Serving Set several times and both myself and Kaelyn love it! It's great having my little helper there right beside me, and seeing the smile on her face as she uses them makes it even better. Her favorite would have to be the pizza cutter. So much so, that she begs me for things she can cut! I will often place cheese or something on the included cutting board and let her practice using it.

We're very pleased with the 8 Pc Cutlery & Serving Set and look forward to using it lots over the next few months when making all of our summer dishes.

The fact that Curious Chef offers real kitchen tools that are safe enough and sized just right for kids is terrific! I'm so thankful for their line of products and will definitely be checking out other things in the future.
