Franklin Goose: Kidco Peapod Travel Tent Review and Giveaway

Warmer weather is just around the corner, which means we'll be spending more time outside very soon! Whether it's to the lake or the park, both of which are very lose to our home...we'll be sure to take advantage of every nice day we have after this terrible winter we've had! Kaden is still pretty young, so I know whatever we do, he'll probably be napping some of the time. In looking for a way to have him outdoors with us, but still give him a place to nap (besides the stroller), I came across Franklin Goose.

Franklin Goose understands how overwhelming it can be as a parent to find the right products. When I first came across Franklin Goose, I was incredibly impressed with the selection of products they offer. I could seriously spend all day browsing the selection of diapers, toys, clothing, household, nursery and all the other products they offer! As I searched, one item popped out at me as being unique, practical and perfect for parents with young children who are looking to spend more time outdoors over the next few months.

That product was the Kidco Peapod Travel Tent which Franklin Goose so kindly sent us for review.

When we received the tent in the mail, I was very excited to test it out. As I pulled it out of the box, I was immediately impressed with the size. This 47"L x 30"W x 19"H tent has such an easy to fold design that it fits into a 14"L x 5"W x 14"H travel bag! How convenient is that?! I couldn't have been happier, as I knew having something this small would be super easy to take with us wherever we go this summer.


The storage bag holds the:
1. Inflatable Mattress
2. Pump
3. Sleeping Pad
4.Tent

Unlike other small tents you may have seen or tired, this one requires no set up! It literally just pops open. The only thing we had to do was pump up the inflatable mattress (with the easy to use pump) which is really simple and takes less than a minute to do. After that you're all set and have a perfect place for your baby or toddler to rest or hang out (designed for infants from birth to approximately 3 years). It's also fantastic quality, which means it will last us a very long time. Yay!


Although we have not had the opportunity to use this outdoors yet, I can't wait to do so! We've set it up several times in our house already and I couldn't be more pleased with all it has to offer. It's truly wonderful for the on-the-go parent! The inflatable air mattress is great because it not only gives your child a comfortable place to sleep, but also helps to protect your baby from cold, damp floors. The fact that it offers UV protection and wind screens is also a huge plus! This means I will have no reservations using it outdoors for Kaden to sleep in while we're at the beach, the park, etc. I also really like the zippered panels. This provides quick and easy access to him from any angle.


As we were getting ready to fold it up and put it back in the storage bag, I was a little skeptical as to how easy it would go back in. It seems things are always easier to take out of a package than put back in, right?! Well...with the Kidco Peapod Travel Tent it was not a problem at all! It folds up just as easily as it opens and couldn't fit in the storage bag any better. It's perfect!

I'm very excited to use this outdoors with the kids this summer. I could also see using it when we stay away from home. As you've seen from the pictures, it's something both kids fit in very well. I could see this coming in handy at Grandma's house or maybe even a motel.
