MasterCard's Holiday Guide ~ $50 MasterCard Prepaid Gift Card Giveaway

I love the Christmas season and look forward to it each year. However, there are some stresses that come along with the holidays as well! Long lines, pushy salespeople, etc. This year, MasterCard is sharing simple tools to help alleviate some of the holiday chaos and stress, enabling you to Master the Season and take time back to enjoy with friends and family.

With the help from MasterCard's Holiday Guide, we can Master the Season. I was impressed with the variety of tips and information they provide and thought it would be useful to pass along with the shopping season upon us.

When it comes to finding the perfect gift:

    The build a budget tip is my favorite. In this day and age, it can be really easy to go crazy and not pay attention to how much you spend on everyone. For me, it is easier to plan what to buy or make everyone when I have a clear and concise budget on hand.

    My favorite tip is to set a budget and then use a prepaid card for purchases. I've been worried about the holidays and how much money we have in our savings. I don't want to see more of it disappear than I had planned, and the only way to make sure that doesn't happen is to give myself a certain amount of money to spend and no more!
