From the time Caysen was a very small baby, he has loved anything to do with music. He dances and smiles from ear to ear! When I look for toys, I like to find things that are geared toward each of my kids' interests, and when it comes to him...music and sounds are what he loves! That's why I was excited to learn more about the new MEGA BLOKS First Builders Billy Beats™ Dancing Piano!

We love the Mega Bloks brand. Their toys are high quality and something my kids never get bored of! The Billy Beats Dancing Piano was new to me, so I was excited to learn more about it. After looking it up online, it sounded like something Caysen (and my other children) would absolutely love!

Mega Bloks kindly sent us a Billy Beats Dancing Piano to review.

When it arrived, Caysen was very eager to open it. Out of the box, I needed to place the stickers on the blocks, but other than that, it was pretty much ready to use. That was nice, as he was very excited to check it out. 

 

All three of my kids love it! With three different modes of musical play, they can have fun with Billy Beats in all kinds of ways. They can press the light-up block keys and watch as he dances and plays one of eight different songs. This is Caysen's favorite part, as he loves to dance along!

 

The kids can also learn how to play music by building their own songs and following along, or even play different sounds that include a piano, animal and dj/party effects. This can be done all with the flick of a switch. 

My 3 and 5 year olds enjoy the piano mode where they can look at the blocks and play the keys to make a song. They simply look at the color and push that color of key. It's easy, and they get so excited when they can play and recognize a song. It's a proud moment!

It's been fun watching the kids play with Billy Beats. They have a lot of fun dancing along and love how he moves when the music plays. I also appreciate that this toy is compatible with all First Builders blocks which can securely be stored away under his big red hat. This makes keeping everything organized and stored very easy. 

We have really enjoyed Billy Beats! With three different modes of musical play, and endless building possibilities, this toy will keep kids (ages 1-5) entertained for hours on end. I would definitely recommend it to families with young children. It's a lot of fun!
