Disney Princess & Me Collection Dolls Review & Giveaway

Like many girls her age, Kaelyn LOVES anything and everything to do with princesses! In fact, since she was about 2, princesses have been a favorite in our household! Every time a new princess movie comes out, Kaelyn wants to see it and whenever we're in the a store, she likes to checkout all of the princess toys!

With her birthday nearing and Christmas around the corner, I've been keeping my eye out for great Princess gift ideas. Last month I was introduced to the Princess & Me Collection dolls and knew they would be something Kaelyn would love! That's why I was super excited when asked if we'd like to do a review.

We were sent the Disney Princess & Me Jewel Rapunzel Doll and Disney Princess & Me Ariel Doll.

Although Kaelyn loves all the princesses, her favorites are Ariel and Rapunzel! These are the movies she could watch over and over again, and the princesses she wants to dress up as and play with. I knew she'd be really excited to see them when they arrived. I was right!

When the Princess & Me dolls arrived, Kaelyn was in awe. I think she may have even squealed a little! I couldn't blame her...these princesses are beautiful and a dream come true for any princess fan. I would have loved something like this when I was her age!

These 18" dolls are a great size and dressed in beautiful ball gowns inspired by their films. I love that they are dressed and made to resemble their characters so much. It makes them feel so much more real for Kaelyn! I was amazed with how much time and detail went into creating these dolls. I can tell they were designed with high quality materials and are something that will last us a long time! YAY!

We took the Rapunzel doll out first. This is probably Kaelyn's all-time favorite movie! She loves the storyline and knows the songs by heart. Anytime she has the chance to dress up like Rapunzel or watch her on tv, she does. The Rapunzel doll has long silky hair, bright sparkling eyes is dressed in a beautiful purple gown. She even is wearing her signature tiara and a pair of cute satin shoes.

Kaelyn adores her looong silky hair. It really does feel real. I get a little concerned that it will end up tangled, but so far...so good. Her eyes are gorgeous and really sparkle. They seem so realistic! I can tell Kaelyn thinks she seems life-like as well...as I hear her talking to her and playing with her on a daily basis.

I think one of Kaelyn's favorite features though, is the crown. She loves the tiara and it's metallic finish. She now wants one just like it.

The other princess she loves, is the Disney Princess & Me Ariel Doll. Her beautiful red hair stood out to Kaelyn and I right away. It's silky like Rapunzel's hair and I find Kaelyn playing with and styling it a lot. When we play with the dolls together, that's what we like to do most...play with their hair and of course, sing their songs! :)

 

Ariel also has beautiful sparkly eyes, and her beautiful gown stands out as unique from the other princesses. Kaelyn loves it! She sparkles and has a porcelain doll look to her. Aside from the gown which is Kaelyn's favorite feature on Ariel, is her beautiful tiara. It's really the finishing touch on each of these Princess & Me Collection dolls.

We have had so much fun with these dolls, and Kaelyn absolutely loves them! She smiles from ear to ear every time she's playing with them, and even has them in bed with her when she sleeps. It's so cute! With her birthday nearing, I plan on checking out the other dolls in the Princess & Me Collection and getting her another one...as I know at some point it would be fun for her to have the whole set.
