JEMOS Footwear Review & Giveaway ~ Eco-Friendly Footwear for Infants & Toddlers

With Spring just around the corner, my kids and I are looking forward to spending some much needed time outdoors, running around and breathing in the fresh air. With Kaden walking and climbing all over the place now, it's more important than ever that I make sure he has a pair of shoes that will keep his feet protected when playing outside. I want to make sure I am doing what's best for his developing feet, while at the same time...find shoes that are affordable, cute and versatile. Thankfully, I know exactly where to look... JEMOS Footwear.
In December I had the pleasure of sharing about JEMOS Footwear with you and their great selection of eco-friendly, soft-soled and comfortable shoes for infants and toddlers. For those who missed the review and are not familiar with them, here is a little bit about JEMOS...

JEMOS Footwear was founded in 2008 as the original eco-friendly shoe line exclusively for infants and toddlers. They are a small family-owned and operated company offering 26 styles of hand made, soft soled footwear for infants and toddlers in 5 sizes ranging from newborn (0-6 months) through toddler (24+ months). They are dedicated to providing fun, stylish and eco-friendly footwear resulting in comfortable, hand sewn moccasin style shoes perfect for crawlers, first time walkers and toddlers. The buttery soft leathers are sourced from high quality furniture manufacturers ensuring a quality shoe, and less waste for the earth!

For those who visit here often, you may remember my review of the Blake shoes from JEMOS Footwear. As I mentioned...we were (and still are) very impressed with the amazing quality and comfort these shoes provide. That's why I was excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review another great style.

JEMOS sent us the Dawson shoes to review.

As with the Blake shoes we received, these arrived in a JEMOS Footwear signature box. Not only is it a great way to display the shoes, but I've also found the box to be the perfect way to keep the shoes together and safe when Kaden isn't wearing them. Not only do I appreciate this, but also the fact that the packaging is 100% reusable and recyclable! JEMOS Footwear is definitely eco-friendly...even their website is hosted by a server that uses 100% wind energy. Pretty impressive if you ask me!

JEMOS Footwear even includes their mascot, a plush giraffe finger puppet in each box of shoes.

Loving the Blake shoes so much, I definitely had high expectations for these. Thankfully, JEMOS Footwear did not disappoint! Having had the opportunity to review both pairs has given me the chance to experience the consistent quality (and cuteness) found with their line of shoes.

As I took the Dawson shoes out of the box, I was drawn to the color right away. I love the blue and it's something that can easily be worn with many things in Kaden's wardrobe. Fun and casual, these shoes have already gotten a lot of use and I know will be worn even more once we get outside! They are absolutely adorable and the perfect boy shoe in my opinion.

Like I said, the quality is top of the line! The buttery soft earth friendly leather is what makes these shoes so great for growing and active little feet. They seem to be very comfortable and soft, yet durable enough to withstand the wear and tear of daily use. In fact, their leathers are even tested for both wear and safety...so I have peace of mind knowing that my little guy's feet are protected and taken care of. And...as far as the leather goes...JEMOS only uses 100% new, hand choses and high quality leather remnants that are eco-friendly.

The extra cushioned ankles and flexible 4 mm thick padded sole make the Dawson shoes very comfortable for Kaden to wear. They provide both the protection and flexibility his feet need. Although he is still in that stage where he is not fond of shoes, the Dawson and Blake shoes are the exception. He does not seem to mind wearing them at all...in fact, he will often find them and try putting them on himself!

One thing I've noticed about these shoes, is that they offer plenty of toe space for growing feet. Nothing is more frustrating than buying a pair of shoes for your little one, only to find they have grown out of them after a couple of weeks. With these, there is plenty of room to grow, while still giving the snug fit he needs.

Another thing that can often be difficult with infant and toddler shoes is trying to slip them on your child's foot. Thankfully, these are a piece of cake. The Velcro closure make it easy to get the shoes on and off in no time. Even for Kaelyn who is nearing 3 1/2, I still prefer Velcro to tie shoes.

Once again, we've been very happy with JEMOS Footwear! The Dawson shoes are not only cute and stylish, but they are also great quality and best of all...comfortable for Kaden. We've already gotten a lot of use out of them, and I know with nicer weather around the corner...they'll get worn even more. I would highly recommend JEMOS Footwear to anyone looking for fun, stylish and original shoes for your child. Whether you're look for girls shoes or boys shoes, they have a little bit of everything.
