Gearing Up For Summer #26: Sun Protection Zone SunSkinz Review and Giveaway

Growing up I didn't think much about spending time in the sun without some sort of sunblock or sun protection. We were sent the Blue and Black SunSkinz Long Sleeve Suit for Kaden and the Pink Hibiscus SunSkinz Short Sleeve Shirt for Kaelyn.

When the items arrived, I was very impressed with the quality. I could tell that the proprietary high-density yarn that they are made with will allow for us to get many uses of this sun protection clothing over the years.

When I got the kids in each piece, I was very happy with the four way stretch fabric. It made the fit perfect and also seems very comfortable for them to wear. I was a little concerned that Kaden's would be way too big, as the smallest size they have is 1T. I was happy to see that it fit him perfectly though. I love the one-piece suit we were sent for him. It covers a lot of the exposed skin and is very easy for him to move around in.

One of my favorite features of the suit is that there's actually diaper snaps to make changing diapers easy! What a great feature to have on their size 1 and 2 products!

Kaelyn's shirt is absolutely adorable. I love the different patterns offered and am so happy with the pink hibiscus. She actually wears it when we play outside a lot, and it goes well with many shorts she owns. The fact that it's a bit longer and has a high neck is great! This ensures that it will not ride up and will also protect the sensitive skin on her neck.

Overall, I am very happy with each piece we received. They're fantastic quality, comfortable for the kids to wear and adorable. It feels great knowing that my kids' skin is protected when wearing their SunSkinz clothing! It's truly sun protection that doesn't wash off.
