I have a jewelry box full of necklaces, rings, etc...however, there are only a handful of pieces that I find I wear most often. Typically these are the ones that have sentimental value and mean something to me personally. As I've mentioned in the past, having my kids' names on the jewelry I wear is very special to me. I just love personalized pieces that allow me to show off my babies! That's why I was happy when I came across Nelle & Lizzy and the gorgeous selection of jewelry they offer!
After the birth of her third child, Lizzy was given a simple triple band sterling silver ring that she wanted to impress each of her boys names on. After calling all over the US and meeting with different jewelers...all of whom said this 'simple' task would be impossible, Lizzy called her friend Nelle who is an experienced designer. Together they began the journey of creating a jewelry line that expresses who is in your heart. With the desire to create a simple piece of jewelry that was meaningful and many years of designing, researching and fabricating...they released the original Nelle & Lizzy rings. With much success, their business expanded in 2008 to include necklaces, birthstones rings and bracelets as well.
I love the story behind this company and what they stand for! When it comes to sentimental pieces, sometimes simplicity is best! I absolutely love the pieces they offer and think they're simply stunning. I received a sample in the mail (and although it does not have my kids' names on it), I was very impressed with the all around quality! Not only was it simple and beautiful, but the names were so carefully stamped on each one.
I really like the unique look of this double ring with overlapping bands . They are also offered in single or triple if you have fewer, or more, than two children.
Oh, and did I mention how great the ring was packaged?! I am always impressed when a company takes the time to personalize their product's packaging in some way...and Nelle and Lizzy went above and beyond! I received the sample ring in a box tied with a ribbon. Inside the ring was set amongst a bunch of lavender. I had never seen any other piece of jewelry presented like this and absolutely loved it!
This wasn't the only ring that caught my eye as I browsed their website though. I also have my eye on their birthstone ring! These rings are available in all birthstone colors using Swarovski crystal and sterling bands. Not only can you choose a birthstone to personalize your ring, but you can also add up to 12 characters to have stamped on your ring as well!
I am in love with these rings and think it would be so neat to have one with Kaelyn and Kaden's names on it at some point. What mom wouldn't love this?! I definitely think it would make a terrific Mother's Day gift this year! I've been hinting to my hubby for myself already.
