Celebrating Moms #12: Xtrema Cookware Review and Giveaway

Once I became a mom I became more aware of the products out there that contain toxins and things that are not good for our health. I want to do what I can to help keep my family healthy and safe. Whether it's the toys they play with, the cookware I use, or something else....this is a top priority to me. That's why I was very excited to come across Xtrema.

After three additional years of research, testing and product development....Ceramcor, LLC was established. I have always wondered how safe some of the cookware I have really is. That's why I couldn't have been more happy to find a company like this whose main focus is to make sure your cooking experience is as safe and healthy as it can possibly be. I was thrilled when I found out I was going to have the opportunity to review the Xtrema 10” skillet.

When it arrived and I took it out of the box I was already very impressed! It is very heavy duty and I could tell, higher quality than many of the pots and pans I already had. It's durable and something I know will last a very long time.

I obviously couldn't wait to try it out, and have had the opportunity to use it several times already! It's large enough to se when making many different things. I just love the size and can't believe I went so long without it! The first time I used it, I was simply browning hamburger. I couldn't believe how well it worked! With Xtrema cookware you start by using a medium heat and it takes a little bit longer to get fully heated, but once it does you can turn the heat setting down because the Xtrema cookware will retain heat for a longer period of time.

I feel great using my Xtrema skillet because I know it's been tested and proven to not leach any trace metals or chemicals from the cooking surface into the food I'm making. This is a VERY important feature to me, and one I'm so happy it offers!

I also love the fact that it has a non-scratch surface. I don't know about you, but I'm always using utensils which I know are hard on cookware. I'm so glad to have found Xtrema...their ceramic cookware cannot even be scratched by metal utensils or industrial steel wool!

One of the most impressive things about the Xtrema skillet in my opinion, is how versatile it is. I think it's wonderful that it can be used on Stove Top, Oven, under Broiler, Freezer, Frig, Microwave and on a Barbeque Grill. It's also dishwasher safe which is nice too. I have found that I just wash it by hand though, as cleaning it is a breeze!

We're very happy with the Xtrema skillet. So much actually, that we'd really like to get more of Xtrema products at some point. I have my eye on their 16 piece Ceramic Cookware Set. It would be wonderful to slowly replace the old pots and pans I have in my cupboard with ones I know are durable, high quality, safe and eco-friendly!


Some of the products from the Xtrema teaware and bakeware lines would be great as well!

I would highly recommend Xtrema to anyone looking for high quality, healthy, safe and eco-friendly cookware. Their products would make a terrific Mother's Day gift this year.
